Born to an unmarried teenage mother in a East Los Angeles maternity home founded by the Salvation Army.

Kai was given up for adoption at birth, raised in Southern California and Oregon.

During her chaotic and traumatic teenage years, Kai searched and yearned to locate her birthmother.

Two weeks before her adopted father, Levi, died of cancer, while struggling with dementia, he said to her "very soon we will find your mother."

As fait would have it, on the very day her father died, an investigator called to say she had indeed located her mother.

This mother and daughter story  doesn't end here. It's only the beginning of an inspiring and fascinating journey from anger to forgiveness and from healing to living life with hope, passion and purpose.

Married to Ron and mother to one son, Israel.

Employed part time as a Labor and Delivery/Lactation Nurse.

Inspired by those who live their dreams, Kai decided to take a chance, against the odds,  and pursue a long lost  dream of modeling and acting.
